Serious Weapons – Jesus’ Priceless Blood

2 Corinthians 10:3 For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energised with divine power to effectively dismantle the defences behind which people hide. (TPT)

2 Corinthians 10:4 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience (TPT)

5 Important Steps to Activate the Blood and Every Weapon

1. Learn –   The Bible teaches. Example of those who have learned

2. Believe Knowing the truth will give confidence

Romans 3:25 We come to him for mercy, for God has made a provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus…… (TPT)

Acts 3:16 Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes. (NLT)

3. Apply – confidence to act with your actions and words

4. Trust that it is working – the only weapons used on people are the fruit of the Spirit. Others are in the spirit

5. Communion – use on purpose

“I Plead the Blood” – what does that mean

By Jesus’ blood, God did something about  sin and He did something about us

Forgiveness and Cleansing

Jesus identified with humans and ultimately God laid on His body everything that was wrong with man and the wrong that man had done. This happened during Jesus’ torture. It was this torture that broke the skin and released the blood that forgave those sins AND brought us back to God.

Even the mind

Hebrews 9:14 Yet how much more will the sacred blood of the Messiah thoroughly cleanse our consciences! For by the power of the eternal Spirit he has offered himself to God as the perfect Sacrifice that now frees us from our dead works to worship and serve the living God (TPT)

Restore and Lift

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace, Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood [that sealed, ratified] the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament),

Hebrews 13:21 Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (AMPC)

Shalom: is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquillity.

Colossians 1:20 And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself— back to its original intent, restored to innocence again! (TPT)

Reconciled to God

2 Corinthians 5:18 And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. (TPT)

Reconciled To One Another

Blood is considered a connective tissue for two basic reasons: (1) embryologically, it has the same origin (mesodermal) as do the other connective tissue types and (2) blood connects the body systems together bringing the needed oxygen, nutrients, hormones and other signaling molecules, and removing the wastes. In circulating blood two different cell types are found: enucleated erythrocytes or red blood cells and nucleated leukocytes or white blood cells. We will study their histology in blood smears.

Ephesians 2:13 Yet look at you now! Everything is new! Although you were once distant and far away from God, now you have been brought delightfully close to him through the sacred blood of Jesus—you have actually been united to Christ!

Ephesians 2:14 Our reconciling “Peace” is Jesus! He has made Jew and non-Jew one in ChristBy dying as our sacrifice, he has broken down every wall of prejudice that separated us and has now made us equal through our union with Christ

Ephesians 2:15 Ethnic hatred has been dissolved by the crucifixion of his precious body on the cross. The legal code that stood condemning every one of us has now been repealed by his command. His triune essence has made peace between us by starting over—forming[a] one new race of humanity,[b] Jews and non-Jews fused together!

Ephesians 2:16 Two have now become one, and we live restored to God and reconciled in the body of Christ. Through his crucifixion, hatred died. (TPT)

Ephesians 2:18 And now, because we are united to Christ, we both have equal and direct access in the realm of the Holy Spirit to come before the Father! (TPT)
