Our two Sunday services are repeated so you are welcome to attend either. Simply find a park and make sure you’re in the auditorium by 8:30am or 10
Where should I go?
Rhema Family Church is at the end of the cul-de-sac on Tolmer Place. We have two entrances, our main entrance is our driveway on Tolmer Place and we also have a gate accessible by foot through Barbarella Park. The main building entrance is under the portico, there will be plenty of volunteers to help you find your way. Disabled parking is also available close to the portico with a side entrance for easy access if required.
What should I wear?
We are a multicultural church with people from all walks of life, so our dress code is varied. Our Sunday services are casual and family-focused so please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
Can I bring my children?
All children are welcome to any Sunday service. For babies that need feeding or settling, we have a parents room at the rear of the auditorium (accessed from the hallway) which you are welcome to use anytime. It has a change table, comfortable chairs for feeding, a tinted viewing window to the service and sound controls, allowing you to listen to the service.
The soundproofing gives your baby the freedom to play without disturbing the service. We also provide Rhema Kids for children aged 1-12 which operates during Sunday services. More information about Rhema Kids is below. High School aged kids are most welcome to join the main service with you. More information about Rhema Youth is also below.
What happens during a service?
Every Sunday we sing songs together, we receive an offering*, we pray both privately and corporately and we hear a brief teaching from the Bible. Once a month we take up a missions offering*, and we partake of the Holy Communion. After each service, we have free tea and coffee in the back of the auditorium or you can purchase a coffee from Rhema Cafe.
*giving in an offering and partaking in the Holy Communion is your choice.
Kids & Youth
We have some great programs for children of all ages.
This room is for parents of babies and also has a private section for nursing mums. While this is a quiet room, you can still hear what’s happening in the main service so you won’t miss out! Ask any of our team if you need help to find your way there.
Rhema Kids is a place for your child to connect not only with other kids, but also with Jesus. The program is designed around The Bible and is taught in age appropriate ways and settings.
There are three groups – Toddlers (1-3 years) Juniors (4-6 years) and Primary (6-12 years)
Each Sunday you may check your child in outside the Rhema Kids room via the Sign-In Sheet. You will be notified if your child needs you.
We highly value your child’s safety and protection, so we ensure that all of our leaders have been trained and all the Rhema Kids Team have valid Blue Cards.
Rhema Youth is specifically designed for teenagers (grades 7-12), helping them to develop an intimate relationship with God through services, groups, praise & worship, and prayer.
Weekly (during term) Friday Services: 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Youth Hall
Every Friday during the school terms we have Friday Youth! Get dropped off near the basketball court at 6:30pm for chill time and games before the service begins in our Youth Hall at 7pm. Friday nights are a high-energy service designed to create an engaging atmosphere where youth can connect with God through activities, worship, and Bible-based preaching. It is a great place to create friendships as well as bring new youth to introduce them to Christ.
Our regular Friday services take a break during each school holiday so that we can run some fun events! Keep an eye out for school holiday happenings on our event page.
